I did enjoy a dish like this while in Alaska. I'm not sure what it was called but I'm calling it: Smoked Salmon Tartare.

Creamy gorgonzola melted and mixed with spinach, then served on crispy bread. 4 good ingredients = Delicious!

In an effort to extol the virtues of the Lugana pasta I mentioned above, take advantage of the last of the tomatoes in the garden and squeeze a few more weeks out of summer by making and serving this pasta salad for a dinner on the deck.

This one is ripped right out of The Silver Spoon. This is a good one that can be made ahead, frozen, and brought out when guests drop by.

Beat the yolks with the water in a heat-proof bowl.
