  Tastings New Arrivals Wine Picks

Our Wine Department is truly Seattle's hidden treasure. Located upstairs in our store, you will find the most complete selection of Italian wines in the city. The selection doesn't stop there: we also proudly offer wines from the Northwest and around the world. Indeed, we carry over 1,800 wines. We are particularly proud of our half-bottle selection, too. As with our deli and gourmet items, we are proud to offer a breadth and depth of unique wines you simply will not find anywhere else in the Northwest.

Our inventory of wines changes frequently. If you are looking for a specific bottle or something special, please call us at (206) 622-0141 or (800) 873-6685. Case discounts and limited delivery are always available.

Had to snap a pic of just a few of our lovely Oregon Pinot Noirs. We have a great representation of classic, pioneering wines from the likes of Eyrie and Cameron to the new breed avant garde from Big Table Farm and Walter Scott. Check them out this week!

Featured Wine: Wine of the Week

cuvelier.jpg
2009 Cuvelier Los Andes 'Colleccion'
$20.99/bottle

All great things in France are done with a good bit of Pomp & Circumstance, so that when it came time for winery owners Jean-Guy Cuvelier to partner with his cousin Bertrand on a new venture, they alerted the wine paparazzi, and gathered around the patriarch's great desk in Lille-Haubourdin in way Northern France to sign the papers. The project was not, however, in the vein of their Second Growth Bordeaux, Leovelle Poyfere, but this time these two elegant Frenchmen were moving to Argentina! Enter a third character, Michel Rolland, the great French vigneron and consultant, and the recipe for a critic's acclaim!

The Blend: 59% Malbec, 16% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah and 5% Petite Verdot purple and dense.
The Press: (The Wine Advocate) "structured, rich wine with impeccable balance, volume, and length. It too, is a great value." 92 Points - Parker
